What can I do to make eyeliner stay put
When l wear liner on my top lids it always ends up on my upper brow area.
It just rubs right off my lid and onto the brow. What can l do to make it
set so that l do not have this weird stripe across my upper eye all
day? l use a pencil type now by Benefit. l like it because it goes on
smoothly, but l guess it is too soft?
Buy better eye liner;
or don't wear it.
Mine use to clump up in the corners of my eyes
Now i only wear mascara
I had that problem too until a makeup artist saved me!
She told me to buy a clear mascara & an eyeliner brush. After dipping the
brush into the clear mascara, draw a line on top of ur eyeliner. Since it
is clear it won't change the color or anything, but it will stay on until
you take it off. I know it sounds kind of weird but it really does work!
The only pencil eyeliners I can wear alone without having to worry about smudging are Urban Decay is 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils. They're awesome. And the Sephora Brand Flashy Waterproof Eye Liners. Also amazing. Another tip is to buy gel/cream liners or liquid liner, which usually stay in place better. Or you could prime ur lid before putting on eyeliner. That also helps. Try using a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion or a paint
pot from MAC. A good paint pot to use would be Painterly because if you
have fair skin, it is the color of skin.
I have a problem keeping mine from smearing down the corner of
my eye. But that is because I rub my eyes a lot, which I know you are not
supposed to do. I work on a computer all day and it usually drys my eyes
out. I also buy a cheaper eyeliner b/c makeup is so expensive. You should
try a different eyeliner and making sure you're not rubbing your
eyes/face.
There are several possibilities:
1.You may be putting on too much eyeliner
2.Try a different type or brand of eyeliner
3.If you use eyeliner, you should give it some time to dry
4.Maybe switch from liquid to pencil
5.Are you using a cheap brand? Though they may be expensive, name brands
normally work better, I use wet'n'wild, mac, maybelline, and im waiting for iqqu to come out because that is supposed to work really well.
I've had the same problem with putting eyeliner on my top lids.
What works well for me is an eyeliner by Maybelline called Define-A-Line.
It is fantastic and I've never had any problems with it rubbing off on my
upper brow! :)

I guess it all depends on what kind you are wearing. Perhaps
you could try liquid eyeliner. That usually stays on well.
